I'm sure before he "strapped it on" he had one of those big helicopter style tracking shot visions in his head, right out of some awesome adventure hero movie where the star blasts through the towering CGI generated waves screaming Wooo Hooo while his buds look on with mouths agape, too speechless in awe to comment and while all the hottest chicks he knows or could even imagine fight each other to hook up with him, one two or even three at a time...

Then silly old nature comes along and fracks him up.

In one account, he supposedly was trying to unhook himself, but was unable to.  Although, I can't find that account now.   If he's in critical condition in the hospital, I'm not certain how that was even determined.  Did he say so to medical personnel? Did someone close to him on the ground see his failed attempt to unhook?

At any rate... I'm not convinced that the hottest chicks around him would be fighting eachother over him... unless they're just as big of knuckleheads as he is...
