The skin on that Zeke is from the Tainan Air Group, not one of the carriers that participated in the Pearl Harbor attack.
Just thought you might want to know since you're looking to be historically correct.

The DSG event was the best I've seen so far. Historically accurate units involved with the correct skins, correct maps, everything....



1st Bomb Wing formed up and climbing out to redevous with our escorts.



We've been intercepted by the Luftwaffe



Lining up for our primary target and taking flack



Lots of 88's down there



We're running for home but the Luftwaffe keeps coming.

That was the best event ever!!!!

A pair of 80th FS P38Gs outbound up the coast of New Guinea out of 7 mile drome on their way to Wewak to play with the Zekes


428th FS, 474th FG P38s up high, outbound to link up with 8th AF bombers for the trip to Merseberg, November 2, 1944


B17s of the 1st BD on the same mission over scattered clouds and snow covered ground


the 474th taxing in after the mission


D-Day


Battle of the Bismarck Sea.  B25 gunships on the prowl for Japanese shipping


I could go on and on :)

P38s of the 431st, 432nd and 433rd FS, 475th FG outbound on a SAPP night.  Nice formation, correct skins etc
