My youngest is having her first day of kindergarten today. We walked her to school and unlike her older sister, had no apprehension at all about leaving us to go inside.
Only 13 more years till I get some peace and quiet around here.
LOL... fat chance. My Daughter is now 24, married and within days (hours?) of poppin out my first granddaughter.
You'll discover
when there are those odd moments of 'peace and quiet' that your sub-consciously cringing, the little voice in you brain is hollering 'IT's TOO DAMN QUIET... WHAT IN HELL IS SHE DOING NOW??" and you just can't really relax, cause if yah do, that's when she'll blind-side yah with 'Can I stay over at my friends house, daddy?'
*sigh*
As a grandfather, I hope to take the battle to my kid... lotsa noisy toys, and of course, the well timed 'Pull my Finger'.
