Warranty info should be available on the web from whomever you decide to buy it from. If you decide on Saitek, I know for a fact that Best Buy sells extended warranties beyond the original. Buy it; you'll probably need it.

I used a Saitek Cyborg Evo for several years (maybe 4), and now I've switched to the X-52.  I have had a few problems with it uncalibrating itself, but since I got a powered USB hub, they have mostly been very easy to solve (well, relatively easy  :))

The CH products cost more but you are buying a product that lasts and will not let you down.  CH doesn't just make sticks for games either.

CH makes sticks for construction equipment, forestry vehicles, military vehicles, as well as refuse handling trucks.

And to top it off, they are MADE IN THE U.S.A.  :rock

Logitech was founded & is HQ'd in Switzerland, but the gaming products are made in China, Taiwan, & Japan.

Do that and six - twelve months from now you'll be $150 poorer and asking the same "which stick should I buy" question. Bite the bullitt and buy the CH gear.
My X52 setup is close to 3 years old now and still going like it was the day I unpacked it.
FWIW It's been every bit as good as my old CH gear that I left behind when I left the Ex.

If you fly alot and you're going to purchase a Saitek product, buy 2. That way you have one as a backup for the one you send in for repair.

3 X45's in 5 years (not including the rotations of one while one was in for repairs) was enough for me. Switched to CH.

Kept the X45 throttle though...can't beat the X45 throttle.

Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I had the X-52 no major problems for about 18 months & started to lose calibration infrequently.  I went with the CH gear, Combat Stick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals.  The best other alternative would be buy the Saitek X-52 from Best Buy with the longest warranty available & when things get out of control exercise the warranty.  Other wise X-52 is a nice system.   :noid  :rock

Nah no attorney involved.

Been there done that. Grabbed a bag of clothes and left. Left my tools, guns, etc. I just didn't care anymore.
