In other words it probably took them a year to get the necessary perks for that sortie ;)

That reminds me of a 262 kill I once achieved. Baltic map, we had the lower corner and the enemy had captured the southern airfield closest to our HQ. I was patrolling @ 12k over that airfield and was almost on way home when I noticed a plane taking off. To my utter surprise someone tried to take off in a 262. Of course you know what happened, as soon as he was out of his ack umbrella my shells were raking his jet.
Later on I checked his stats out of curiosity and it appeared it was probably the first 262 he ever rolled in that game, being flying for 3 or 4 tours at that point. But he forgot to notice the flashing base, the dot on dar and apparently never even looked around when taking of from a front line base. It was his own fault for sure, but somehow I took pity on him...

You're getting soft Snail!!!......

Wait, that might have been me :P
Amazing you could actually recruit that much suck into one squad.

Just yesterday a 262 chased my Arado for three sectors...

Two minutes later a 262comes right at me but pulls to his right when he realizes its a HO. I pulled 5gs and raked him from nose to tail.

Both guys had a sortie/kill percentage of 20 (20 sorties per kill).

With that sortie/kill ratio, how many sorties do you think it took him to save up for a 262?  Dude, you realize you probably just made that guy quit the game, right?  ;-)

How many US aircraft have been done?

Yeah, most.

Stop whining about the P-40 like it is forgotten.  It is only forgotten if you compare it to the US planeset.  Loioking at any other nation's set and it is nothing special like you seem to think.

I wasn't whinning about it not being redone. I know many other planes need to, and will be, redone before the P-40 is even considered (seeing how it is rarley used in the MA). I be honest I would actually like to see the A6M's redone soon!  :aok

Jumped a 262 that was feeding at the furball-water hole. He tried to dive away from my pony and hit the ground right next to his own runway. So close! When he realized he was compressed he must have pulled his cable out of the wall. It was much later I got the kill message.

Two minutes later a 262comes right at me but pulls to his right when he realizes its a HO. I pulled 5gs and raked him from nose to tail.

Couple of weeks ago there was a Bish 262 trying to pick planes in a furball.  He dives in on me, overshoots but I get a lucky shot off and take out one of his engines, which slowed him enough for me to chase him down for the kill and I return back to the furball.  A few minutes later, another 262 comes in, tries to rope but he definitely misjudged his own E state and mine because I got him as he stalled out at the top of his climb.  After that kill, I return again to the furball and to my surprise a few minutes later, yet another 262.  This time I'm his focus, he makes two passes which are easily avoided, he comes in again over shoots and breaks into a hard right turn for a complete circle which results in me shooting him down.  HAT TRICK!  3 262 kills in one flight.  Lucky for me the 262 driver was about as clueless as they come.
