This happens to me very infrequently but it is kind of annoying:

        The Bish or Rooks win teh war and the arena message says the map will reset in 5 (or is it 4) minutes. Simultaneously, the arena is reset prior to the reset.  :huh  When this happens, i wind up a few sectors from a friendly base with only minutes to land. i don't care about having my name in lights, but i want to get credit for any kills i have (yeah it happens once in a while - scientists are struggling to explain it). i am wondering why things can't be left alone until the 4 minutes is up?

I thought i was the only one that thought that, It should stay the same until the 4 minutes are up and it resets.<S>

It used to stay the same if I remember correct. I'm not sure why it resets , but just stay in the air for the 4 mins and Im' pretty sure nothing is counted aginst you.

I'm pretty sure that if you just stay in-flight you get landed credit for them when the arena boots everyone.

Not exactly. For score & perks purposes, the sortie simply has never happened. The kills as such don't get lost, as they are being recorded in realtime during the sortie - you can still find them in "kill stats in expanded format"
