I wish there was a way to do a poll here. I'd like to know how many Republicans like the fact Obama chose Biden for VP, and how many Democrats like it. I really don't get the choice. As I remember the primary season started with Biden being called racist for his assessment of Obama as being "clean and articulate." As a Republican, I can't think of another person Obama could have chosen that would have made me happier ( other than his hut dwelling brother, George).
How do Democrats feel about the choice? I know in the end the VP won't make a difference, but do you think he could have made a better choice for his campaign? I really don't understand the logic behind his choice, i.e., choosing a person who described Obama unready to be President, voted for the war in Iraq, and said he would run on the same ticket as John McCain, supported the bankruptcy overhaul of 2005 (making it harder to claim bankruptcy, and putting Biden in bed with the credit card companies), a Washington insider, recipient of lobbyist money etc. It seems absurd.
I'm honestly wondering if Obama is as dumb as I say he is
