I think he means the "Crocodile" with a flame thrower...

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

It's too far fetched, main reason would be that fire, as of now, does not cause any damage, not only that, we can't simulate fire to travel hundreds of feet. So, this wish isn't gonna happen in a very long time.

actually the flames would go hundreds of feet they would only go about 50 feet from the tank itself but have limited amount of flame projected fuel or w/e they use. They where initially used to burn infantry out of bunkers so the their infantry can clear it. heres a picture of a Churchill croc.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Churchill_Crocodile_01.jpg

There was a Sherman that did so, it had a smaller barrel next to the large main barrel, but the main gun was disabled so the large barrel was just for show if equipped with a flame flower, i say why not, but lets get some more needed stuff in here first...

flame thrower not napalm

ok...first, the Sherman (or any tank with a flamethrower) is called a Crocadile... and yes, the Sherman had a variant, but no main gun, the Churchill had a main gun and the FT at the same time, and i think others did too... btw skyguns, the flamethrower was using napalm  :lol

btw, a napalm tank was mainly used not to burn buildings down, but to flush them out of troops... no need for a croc tank

Napalm as we know it was first used on Tinian in 1944. It's a gelling agent of aluminum soap mixed with avgas, JP-4, or JP-5. Before that natural rubber (latex) was used, but these earlier forms of jellied liquid wouldn't technically be called "Napalm".

M4A3R3, M4 Crocodile, and Sherman Badger (Canadian) all carried flamethrowers.

Flamethrowers wouldn't have any use here. Downed pilots are effective enough to take out running troops considering the troops don't use their boom sticks.
