Heres an experiment for everyone that loves global warming. This will prepare you for the coming arctic melt.

Experiment 1:

required equipment

1 glass
Ice to fill the glass
Water

Fill a glass full of ice. Fill the space remaining in the glass with water. Wait until the ice melts completely.

If the water starts to overflow from the glass during the melting process then proceed to experiment 2: Building the Ark

Yeah right so Greenland will just pass off all the ice into water and then it magically ALL fills the ocean to overflowing without any water being retained? Greenland ONLY is going to melt and the arctic regions ice will stay frozen? Your living in fantasy land. Even if all the ice in the world melted the ocean levels would not rise one inch.

And what about the Ice on Antarctica?
The north pole might be floating (what's left of it) but there is a heck of a lot of ice that isn't.

Its all still ice. I have a family member WAY up in the Arctic right now (ANWR area) and they are preparing for total darkness and winter. BTW it doesnt matter how warm the Earth is its dark in winter up north and it will always freeze. The pictures you see of ice bergs breaking off and falling dramatically into the ocean occur every year. We happen to be at the peak of the warmer cycles that will now start to reverse. I learned all this when I was in school... but of course that was before the Government took over schools.

People forget about precipitation and evaporation and clouds and atmospheric retention and ground seepage and on and on... when they talk about climate change. If the planet didnt have cycles like this there wouldnt be life here.

The archaeological record is riddled with as much evidence of much higher sea levels with warmer climates as is it lower ones during ice ages.
One of the two is heading our way, we just have to wait for the earth to "decide" which way it's going to swing. Either way we're in for one hell of a ride.
Odds are it's likely that we will not be around to see it but the records also show that when it does happen, it's a relatively quick process.

It isn't the ice in the ocean, you numbskull, it's the ice that is sitting on land that creates the sea level rise. 

Yes.. he should redo his experiment, but add two more glasses worth of ice and then try to force them in the glass with water. If the water overflows he should proceeed with building his ark..

lol I guess you have it all figured out.. Al Gore should just pay you millions and you can go on a speech tour with him. I'm really starting to wonder how bad the next generation of kids are going to be. The movie idiocracy is looking more and more like the real future.

Idk, if you are trying to sound like you belive Al Gore, than yes, you should worry.

When the Earth starts to freeze (thats the next movie/book by Gore) we should build a pipe around him and then well have heat when he tries to talk his way out.

The archeological evidence of 'higher seas' come from tectonic plates that move upward as they collide. At one time they were at sea level. The alps for instance came from the collision of Europe and Africa. In the crust of most mountains you can find sea shells of a sort all over the US but that doesnt mean the Ocean was ever that high. No one can point to a piece of mountain and say 'the ocean was this high at this time' because the plates have moved inland and up in altitude over a timespan of millenia. All of the seas around the Philippines (in fact from Australia to Africa) was at one time just above sea level. Must have been one giant arctic region then huh? 

Al Gore depends on a 3rd grade visual of people that the Earth is only 6000 years old and just 5950 years ago was covered in water. Its the same visual that causes kids to think that before they were born there was nothing here or that everything was black and white and without color.
