There really aren't very many planes left to be added that most people here won't whine about them being "hangar queens".  Based on that, I think those people need to put a cork in it and go play with all the late war toys that they already have.

If the Ki-61 becomes available in either an FSO or SEA event, let me know and I'll participate.   I guess I was pretty much snubbed deliberately for that FSO, which cracks me up.

Hi karaya.  Is your squad signed up for FSO?  I haven't seen your squad in any of the FSO event logs from recent times.  I really doubt that you were deliberately snubbed.  This is the link with instructions for signing up: http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,231350.0.html.  After flying the Ki-61 as bubi's wingman, I've concluded that you only love the aircraft for its awesome skins. :aok

err this is the link that actually has the link:http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,147070.0.html

lol... the second two frames weren't spectacular, but the you missed the first... it was awesome... this had a lot to do with Fencer's leadership and luck as well, but I'll tell you we would not have been able to do that in the Ki84. :D

I apologize ahead of time, because I understand that this has most likely been talked about before.  However, I think more models of the same plane would be a nice addition to the game.  Most of the planes in the game have one or only two variants of the same plane.  Take the A-20G for instance, or even the 4 engine American bombers... they had many other variants through the war years just as we have seen with the 109 and 190 family.  HTC has already added on to the P38s and B25s, I think that a more diverse plane set would be appealing to most everyone.

Discuss.

And in response to the OP, I'm still waiting for the 109E-7, 109G-10 and a 109G-6/AS.  When HTC?  When? :pray

Either or would be nice, but a G6/AS and a G10 would be kind of redundant...

Not with their different introduction times and the scenarios we run.

It'd fly circles around your 205 all day long too.   Wait, I bet we need another 109?   Wait, I know, we need another Pee47?    Wait, hold on, we need another 190?   I pretty fly the Ki-61 exclusively.   It's a hangar queen to you AND the SEA events.   They ignored the historical basis of Rangoon and implemented the A6M5 instead of using the Ki-61 which, was involved in the WWII event.   The SEA group lost a possible player in me for blatantly snubbing the Ki-61.

So why punish folks like me who would fly it exclusively for the challenge of still shooting down "hot shot" easy kill La7's, Niki's, Spixteen who get cocky and end up in the tower?

No thank you.   IAR 81c, Mig3, Brewster, Do-217 and the PBY.   That's it.

Ki-61 is pretty fun, I wish it would get upadated though :/

Mig 3, from what I read is a piece of junk.
From Pokryshkins' Memoirs, he had to fight in one with only 2 .50 cal machineguns or 2 .30 cal machine  guns, dont recall to correctly. Pokryshkin hated the plane and was 100 times happier after getting rid of it and getting a P-39.

PBY would be nice, Brewster from what I read would be fine to add. Just so hard to find data for. Same with the IAR 81c. I'm all for all of those on there except the Mig 3.

Those are just my opinions though. I'm all for a new plane.
No one knows what the future may bring.

Where can I find his memoirs? I've been wanting to read something on him.

I beg to defer.   I'm pretty well known as one who "Flies the 61".

The plane is just a perfect mix of everything for me.   The plane needs the "refreshing" treatment that the Hellkitty and La7 has gotten.
