How many kills before your first death ?

I fly everything, (mainly p38's and mossies though ) And get about 2 kill's a sortie. Longest was about....
dunno 22 or something like that. Really dont care If I die though, I will fight until no fuel, no ammo and no engine. (I never run either ) I think its more fun If you die

I'm currently 45/0 flying the A-20G, with about a 50-50 mix of aircraft and armored vehicles. Getting in and out of a furball with my hair can be an adventure...

Wrong, he was in the thick of it.   I cleared his tail, he put "his goal" on the back burner a few times and cleared me.

My best kill streak was ninety something in fighter mode to 0 deaths. Cant remember how i died tho.

I ran off a streak of 55 kills in a 38 this tour before failing to rope a Yak9T My P38 "zen" is apparently spent though since I haven't been able to string more than 26 since and last 10 sorties in it barely 1:1 k/d w <40% survival rate. Go figure...
Last tour got 47 mostly in a P47
Previous month was 39 in F6F

It seems to me that two keys to survival are constantly looking around followed by listening to that little voice saying "Dude, there's 26 of them bish the other Knit is on fire!"

Spit 14 has been around for a loooong time. Last Spit added was 16, about 3 years ago.

And on topic, got 140 until I misjudged E state of a 109K4 and a tater took of my Tempest's tail. It was more a relief than an annoyance though...
