What's next!?!?!?!?

Hello Kitty?
Josie and the popsicle-cats?
He-man?
Johnny Quest?
Dragon Ball?
Voltron?
Robotech (Macross Saga)?
Star Blazers (space battleship Yamato)?

There's endless lists of comics for Hollywood to milk on.  There's even more, almost ten-fold if they look for more in the Orient.

But to be fair, Hollywood is churning out good comic-based movies lately, such as Iron Man and Batman Dark Knight.

What's next!?!?!?!?

Josie and the thumb-cats?

Came out a couple years ago with Rachael Leigh Cook and bombed BIG time

He-man?

Been there, done that

Voltron?

Negotiations in process

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Dragon Ball has a numbner of animated movies, but I thought someone was doing a live action movie of Dragon Ball

Space Battleship Yamato might be interesting if it was a CG movie (if it was produced correctly and had good actors, not poor hollywood choices).

Actually I would really REALLY like to see that

Actually Jonny Quest might work, but only if the studio sticks to the pre-PC culture format of the original. Before it was neutered in it's second incarnation (replacing Hadji with a girl), the show was like an animated James Bond movie. Imagine that, people actually dying in a cartoon! Then the networks got on their "Violence in Cartoons" kick and we had to wait 30 years for the WB's Batman/Superman and of course, Japanese imports.

Trivia Question:
Do you guys know who did the voice for Jonny?

Just another sign that Hollywood has been out of original ideas for quite a while now.

damn... et tu?

Somehow, those AARP guys had me pegged when i turned 50... the pressure is still on 7 years later. Last I heard, when I turn 62, the Old People Police will show up, toss my crap on a truck and I'll be relocated to a Wrinkle Ranch Concentration Camp in Florida.
