I've got all the ballistic data, armor penetration data, etc...for practically all WW2 era artillery pieces (based on post-war testing and evaluations of foreign equipment vs. US ordnance at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 1946)

If you get a call, let me know, I'll make it available.

Bumpage.

I wanted to throw into this discussion a bit of something to chew on when it comes to adding in something completely new to this game.  The coding needs to be as simple as it gets.  Adding in a towed peice would not be as easy as it sounds.  I suggested the static defense in a bunker similar to the ords, etc os for a few simple reasons:

1, the static model of the AT gun, which ever model is used almost %100 already done.  Simply take the manned ack we have now and limit the verticle tilt and maybe give it a 135d horizontal arc of fire.  That part is done.  The biggest issue would be to devise the bunker and implement a dmg model.  Perhaps have the top of the bunker be able to be destroyed by 250lbs, and the front/sides/rear at 500lbs so it is able to stand up to enemy tank fire at least for a bit.  All of a sudden thos esmoke rounds for the Panzer IV just became a bit more handy.  ;)  Also, maybe the pivot point of the gun would need to be moved to the rear of the weapon about 9ft to mimic the gun carraige it is mounted on.

Point is, keep it as simple as possile to implement.   ;)
