I'm disappointed that they weigh so damn much and aren't faster then they are.

Other than that yeah they look really good.  There have been a couple at the weekly Kemah meet and they look bigger then I thought they'd be.

and yet again, 40 years later, chevy and chrysler are copying and following fords lead :D

I believe the correct words in that sentence would be "perfecting and taking over"..............again :aok

Wonderful looking vehicle.

Police chargers are nice but they are tough to get used to from a visability standpoint. The A pillar is in a much different spot than the CVPI cars. In the CVPI's you sit up and can generally see out well, the chargers kinda sit low and have small windows. Other than that, they are saweeeeeet.....

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Even those rinky-dink mini coopers weigh 3,000 pounds. Cars have really gotten bloated over the last 10 years or so.
I wish the taillight bar was thinner vertically but other than that, it's a beautiful car. The seats are incredible too.
It would be nice if they were faster but $$$ can fix that. The new HEMIs do pretty well with boost.
The streets will look good with Challengers, Shelbys and Camaros once again.  :aok

I was planning on a ATI blower for my Magnum in a few years but perhaps a silver Challenger instead.

True.  To REALLY perfect anything from Ford, Chevy or Dodge they would have to give it to Subaru :lol.

They get 300hp and 300ftlbs tq out of a 2.5L 4 cyl mated to a 6 speed with AWD and will last 300,000mi or more.

If the big 3 applied that same technology, a 5.0 litre (350ci) should produce 600hp and 600ftlbs.

Back on subject, the new Challenger (and Chevys new Camaro) look a helluva lot better than a new stang. :P

A 5.0l IS A 302.  unless it's a gm, thenit's either 305 or 307.

 a 350 is a 5.7L.

that 300hp subaru.....i have 2 customers that both traded their mustangs in on them. one drives a buick now, and the other one is looking for another mustang.  :D

i do agree though, that ford and gm could use better technology.
they are still catering to us V8 guys though. the 5.4L ford SOHC engines are pretty impressive though, as were the 4.6L SOHC and DOHC engines. they make great power, and will take one helluva beating.

So a 2.5L with a big turbo is putting out the same hp as the 4.6L mustang N/A...what happens if you stick a big turbo or a KB Supercharger on that 4.6L?

Yes lets put a turbo/supercharger on a car that already produces 425 hp/426 torque (speaking of the srt8 challenger). I would think it should be a dealer option. Kind of like Tasca's 427 in a Falcon 2door. Ahhh yes that's what the world needs now, another Tbolt. :devil
