x52 Problem
« on: August 29, 2008, 04:15:59 PM »
This just started last night after logging in.   Throttle works, roll down the runway, pull back on JS and spin into the ground.    I've finally gotten Windows to clear the Yellow tag in Device Manager.

I have XP Pro 32bit.   Understand I played for about 4 hours Tuesday night without a hitch.   This is the ONLY time that this is ever happened.   I had all day to think about this and decided it was Software related.    Now that I placed the USB connector on the MB, instead of the AC Powered USB Hub, windows has the drivers for it.

Now after calibrating, all of the Axis', controllers, it still does it.    Now I'm thinking my JS just went TU.

I'll be out of AH2 for a while, unless this is resolved.   I was hoping to talk to Skuzzy today, but he won't be in until Tuesday.

cc that SD.    I talked to the wife about it and she's gonna let me get a CH fighterstick.   I'm hoping I can use the throttle with it.    But, I'll be out a week or two.

You can use the throttle, but IIRC you have to leave the stick plugged in to it.
I really have no experience using them this way, but if you PM some of the folk who do (you can find them on the post your desk thread) they should be able to tell you about how it works.

Did you go to Saiteks websight and go thru the full uninstall/cleaning out procedure? Here http://www.saitek.com/uk/supp/saitekUninstall.htm

Once the puter is cleaned out then reinstall the drivers fresh. It actually sounds like you dont have the JS set to the right AH functions.

But most Saitek JS issues have to do with software. Most of all if you keep writing over the same driver code.
