Wouldn't this be more common in the arenas with smaller populations?  I've been on when there's 8 people on in MW or EW; bases falling constantly from a solo or pair working to take them.

it happens there and it also happens in the late war arenas when people put their NOE missions together and point them to an area of the map that has no activity on it. Then when they do meet with opposition they move to another base where they might take it without much of a fight.

i mean they can spend their $15 anyway they like, but isn't the point of this to get a battle going.

Don't get me wrong there are alot of toolshedders that are great for the game, they start fights all over, unfortunately base capture is involved in score, so in order to have a good squad and individual score you must have base captures, so you will always have the score potatos who don't want a fight they want a capture, the same ones that don't want a fight they want a kill.

when the capture, or the kill become the most important part of the game for you, when all you care about is having a great score, that's what alot of people call "poor gameplay"

I will say this for a fact.  People often used to go into the EW and MW arenas and get their score higher when they (scores for all arenas) were combined.  Just a couple of months ago, I saw several of the 'high score' types going into virtually unpopulated arenas and killing Ack factories, Ammo, ect., as well as capturing bases solo.  For a great score.

Poor gameplay seems to have more than a single definition; so one would tend to toss that arguement out the door.
