My Sherman Firefly can beat up your Panther, so nyah-nyah.

 :furious
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

the panther was basically a replacement for the panzer iv, it had the standard 7.5cm(75mm) main gun but had a higher muzzle velocity and had sloped armor which made it almost impenetrable vs allied guns but the allies had sheer numbers on their side. The panther was also designed to help support the tiger 1 and tiger 2's in battle for the faster tanks that the tiger 1 and 2 guns couldn't traverse fast enough to shoot and to keep the firefly busy whilst the tiger shot it.... i personally think we shouldn't add it.   :noid

the panther is more maneuverable and faster version of the tiger but doesn't have a 88mm main gun...it would be like having a second tiger in AH

IIRC the 75mm on the Panther had similar penetration to the 88mm on the Tiger.
