AH when HT dies?
« on: August 31, 2008, 02:45:52 AM »
What will happen to Aces High if/when HiTech dies? Who will command go to? Where can I go to the funeral? Has anybody thought about this?

Thanks for contributing

I know it's strange to talk about death, but come on community, open up!

I've played a few other games, where the creators had died, and the game itself became total crap under the new management. (Greed, mostly). I'm hoping this won't happen to Aces High.

Hopefully with the number of talented people at HTC and with the drive of this community someone will step up to the plate retaining the goals and vision of the Man himself. :salute

Go outside and get some sunshine.

I think that day is already quite short in Alaska and is getting shorter everyday now. It is autumn guys.  :D

Just now sun is shining nicely here (finland) but 2 months and we dont see much daylight...

HT is a pretty young dude yet, baring any unforeseen problems with his RV-8, or a sudden heart attack he should be around for years and years to come. Certainly hope he'll be around yet when they haul me off to a nursing home.

Funeral, I'm guessing but seeing as he lives in Grapevine texas, thats where I'd head if I heard HT had passed.

I don't think we have much to worry about for years and years to come.

EDIT:- oh and this is a really strange thing for you to concern yourself with,(incase the voices tell you otherwise) you may need to put the joystick down and back away from the computer.

Eskimo....  First I see that you are a smart young man and have become an ex member of 357th. Then you post this thread.

Be that as it may, hope you are doing well these days.  Say hi in the MA some time.  For the record, Eskimo is one of the nicer squeakers around.
