in the early days of BoB  two glosyer gladiators did shoot down 2 BF109E.  the 109E bounced them at 2000ft . due to the low speed and agility of the gladiators the 109's didn't get a chance to get a shot in . as the over shot the gladiators nosed up and strafed the under side of the 109's.

same technique was used by laysander pilots in North africa

this is just off my memory but i think it took part in the defense of Malta early in the war.

Yes, they were in the very early war, and I *think* the Boeing P-19 was the last of the bi/war planes

The Italians also used the FIAT CR.32 and CR.42 biplanes in the Battle of France, Battle of Britain, and in the North African theater. I want one really bad :D . I'd like the Gladiator as well.

The Gladiator fought in Norway ,Finland, England ,Malta and north Africa.

In Norway it flew from a frozen lake and did put up a good account for it self against the
109s it was fighting.
In malta They took on the Italian air force and in africa too.

Id love to see some biplanes in the game,you got russian and italian ones too that
could be added.

  It did have 4 .303's; one under each wing and two in the cowl.
