Im with Bald' on this one. I too have been experiencing disco's lately. Never had disco's before, now, all of the sudden, it's been happening regularly. Who can say why it's happening.

I am getting some bad ping times in the Dallas area. 13 hops to the Hitech servers and thats the only place the pings are erratic.

The last time I had disco problems with Wednesday night snapshot, but that was happening to a lot of players (UDP lost etc).  Other than that, I maybe get 1 disco every 6 months.  And over the last 3+ years I've used different ISP's with no problems as you're describing (ATT & Charter).

I had three today (*edit*, disconnects from host), and that's more than the last year or so.

I'm in Bend, Oregon...maybe something happening out here to the pipe?  Not sure why I kept losing connection tonight on Sunday from 5pm - 9pm PST.

I think I got it figured out.  Yesterday my McAfee suite poped up a warning that I hadn't updated in a while, even though I have it set to manual updates and have evrything in the suite turned off.  I ignored it.

Last night I ran the update and no discos since.  Somehow, even though it won't connect to the Internet on it's own, when the warning pops up it disco's me.  That also explains the intrusive, periodic (evey hour and a half) disco.

Anyway, I hope that's it.

Sorry Skuzzy.  I was just frustrated.

I've been getting so many diso's this camp I can barely see the point in trying to play.

Two so far today.  One of them lost me 3 AR234's.  The other in a 109G14 after climbing out for 5 minutes, only to have to start over.

Fix your d@mn game.  Oh wait, according to Skuzzy it's always the players fault.  Nothing wrong with the servers.  Uh huh... sure.
You retracted the rants already, but I'm curious - this keeps coming up but I've never actualy seen Skuzzy "blame" players for their connection problems.
