Experience is far from everything  :D

But seriously, I think Obama has the right ideas, even if he severely lacks in experience.

You could even view his lack of experience as an advantage, as it means that he won't be as corrupt/deceitful as many politicians are (as he's had less time to be corrupted).

Yossarian

Yossarian, are you out of your freaking mind! That's how he became a senator. He had some one break into some confidential records of his opponent and they were printed in the press. It was a divorce transcripts that were suppose to be private. He's from Crook (Cook County Chicago). Even Clinton said they do things there like thugs. (Who could believe some one could be lower than Clinton)

Additionally look at Bj229s post about back tracking on the internet. It was some lies about Palin that were traced back to Obama's site. This guy follows the Rules For Rebels handbook. Which credit the devil for being the first Rebel.

So goodness sakes pull yourself together and walk upright.

I figure if you're going to vote for a puppet, at least vote for one who you can see the puppeteer. ;)
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

dred and mojava..

Dred..  how can you be undecided when one candidate is the most liberal senator there is?

dred and mojava...  besides his speaking voice..  can you name one thing that osamabama has detailed that he will do that you agree with?   that makes him an intelligent choice?

I am thinking that if osambama gets in that it proves that we are a nation that deserves to be drugged out and placed before the tube watching america can dance or has talent of some such after a hard day at work making all left hand gloves.

More intelligent?! Study after study has concluded that Democrats are less intelligent and way less educated. They still suffer from the illusion that you get something for free.

Im not an American so I know im not entitled to post my view here about an American issue like US elections, but since these elections affect the whole world Ill seize the opportunity to make a comment. From what I hear the latest polls give Obama the lead with 6 to 8 points. I don’t know if these reports are correct, but I think that the Gustav thing had a negative effect to the Repubs convention. If u are superstitious I take that as a bad omen for McCain.

Ok you got me. Im pro-Obama.  :)

Post all you like. Your opinion is worth the same as anyone else's. Just don't be surprised when/if people openly disagree with you. It's all part of that freedom of speech thing; it works both ways.

LOL your kidding right? I've read his campaign site a couple of dozen times and all it has on the issues in the same generic garbage that he spews out on TV. The MO for that site and Obama is lets spend 10 minutes stating the obvious, wait for the dramatic pause, then we'll all yell "It's time for a change, Yes we can!" but make sure we don't tell anyone how we're going to do it, or what "it" even is.

I don't mind when someone points out a problem to me, but if your going to come to me about a problem come to me with a viable solution as well. He hasn't done that, other than to say he wants to throw more money at problems and he's going to get that money by taxing the hell out of everything.

Maybe you should read it again.

Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.

    * Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families: Obama will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit will completely eliminate income taxes for 10 million Americans.
    * Eliminate Income Taxes for Seniors Making Less than $50,000: Barack Obama will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This proposal will eliminate income taxes for 7 million seniors and provide these seniors with an average savings of $1,400 each year. Under the Obama plan, 27 million American seniors will also not need to file an income tax return.

And if you REALLY belive that's EVER going to happen, you need to lighten up on the meds. There is a differance in reality ad a pipe dream, and what he's spewing is nothing but a pipe dream. Any rational person with a shred of common sense can see that.
