LOL your kidding right? I've read his campaign site a couple of dozen times and all it has on the issues in the same generic garbage that he spews out on TV. The MO for that site and Obama is lets spend 10 minutes stating the obvious, wait for the dramatic pause, then we'll all yell "It's time for a change, Yes we can!" but make sure we don't tell anyone how we're going to do it, or what "it" even is.

So the argument goes from, he doesn't provide details of his plan, to you can't trust the details of his plan.   :rofl

    * Eliminate Income Taxes for Seniors Making Less than $50,000: Barack Obama will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This proposal will eliminate income taxes for 7 million seniors and provide these seniors with an average savings of $1,400 each year. Under the Obama plan, 27 million American seniors will also not need to file an income tax return.

i am a senior and i don't pay any income tax and i don't have to file a return now. So what else is obama going to do for me?  :rofl

Nah, what he said is that there's nothing on HOW he's going to accomplish all these wonderful things.

For example, how is the Obamessiah going to provide all those tax cuts while fulfilling his other promises on the economy.  Remember, he said he's going to pay for every cent he adds to the budget.

Just exactly how is that going to be done? Without ballooning the deficit to a larger extent than Bush did? Those little details like that are missing.

"End Tax Breaks for Companies that Send Jobs Overseas: Barack Obama believes that companies should not get billions of dollars in tax deductions for moving their operations overseas. Obama will also fight to ensure that public contracts are awarded to companies that are committed to American workers."

or even by creating more American jobs.

" American Jobs: Barack Obama introduced the Patriot Employer Act of 2007 to provide a tax credit to companies that maintain or increase the number of full-time workers in America relative to those outside the US; maintain their corporate headquarters in America; pay decent wages; prepare workers for retirement; provide health insurance; and support employees who serve in the military."

Which is more of the fluff we get every campaign season from every candidate.

There's a lot of verbiage there with no specifics at all and absolutely NO guarantees that he can get that stuff through a Congress that is always in the pocket of industry lobbyists.

It's like me running and saying that I'm going to give every family $100k by eliminating waste and fraud in government. It's meaningless bullshirt.

Only a liberal can call fluff like that a "plan". Hell, my plan is no different than his plan.

Here's another plan that's equally as good: Obama can have Santa Clause deliver $2500 in North Pole gold to all seniors by promising Santa that we will put him on a stamp.

There's a detailed plan for ya; it's about as good as what you are touting as "details".

I see where you're coming from though. You'll swallow bullshirt as "details" and still trust the plan.

details?  you call those details?  that is like saying "a car in every garage and a chicken in every pot"

How is he gonna cut taxes and grow government at the same time..  I don't see a budget that includes all of us getting $1000 a year tax break...  I don't see national health paid for by cutting taxes.. name a socialized medicine country with low taxes.

Then.. no taxes for seniors.. retired people who make less than $50,00 a year..  hey..   I guess that is a consolation... at least if he wins I can pretend I believe that..  very comforting since I will be retiring but... I just can't drink the koolaid.

His plans have no details.. they are contradictory.   He says..  we are gonna give all of you ten times more than we ever have before and we are gonna charge you less than you got charged last year.

Just a side note.  I see no difference in saying, "I will make sure no one is hungry by making sure every plate is full of food for all!".  Solves the problem and tells you how.

Now, where the hell is he going to get the food from?

Obama's whole site reads like that.

Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans: Obama will dramatically simplify tax filings so that millions of Americans will be able to do their taxes in less than five minutes. Obama will ensure that the IRS uses the information it already gets from banks and employers to give taxpayers the option of pre-filled tax forms to verify, sign and return. Experts estimate that the Obama proposal will save Americans up to 200 million total hours of work and aggravation and up to $2 billion in tax preparer fees.

Hey there's 2 billion right there.

  Here's McCains plan,

Quote
# John McCain's policies will increase the value of the dollar and thus reduce the price of oil. In recent years, the declining value of the dollar has added to the cost of imported oil. This will change. Americans will have a stronger economy, a stronger dollar and greater purchasing power for oil, gas and food.

or this one is even better

Quote
The McCain administration would reserve all savings from victory in the Iraq and Afghanistan operations in the fight against Islamic extremists for reducing the deficit. Since all their costs were financed with deficit spending, all their savings must go to deficit reduction.

Now that's what make believe looks like.

Actually, about 30 percent of the price of a bbl of oil is related to the devalued dollar. So, on the surface that is an important issue. As for his ability to turn that around in a timely manner -- I don't know.

And put 50,000 people out of work that make money filing takes for these people:)

Obama has a record as one of the most extreme leftist, liberal, socialist, and inexperienced politicians in the country.  That should concern people.

The harm Obama and his crew would do to the country with a liberal senate majority would be irrepairable.  Let Obama take his elitest America-hating crew and go be "world citizens" somewhere else - way far from here.

If and when the day comes when John McCaine and Palin are sworn in, I'll be one VERY relieved voter.

Thanks to bush our country is in need of major repairs,But my answer to who I want to be President..............none of the above and I know people on this game who want McCaine only cause he served in a war.
And I know people who want Obama because we want something new.
Not like my post has to do with anything but I'm speaking my mind.
