Almost a year. Thoughts?

Almost been a year since DGS. Who remembers arguably the best scenario hosted in AH? I remember clearly since i was flying allies with the 361st 'Yellow Jackets'. Best time I've ever had.  Anyone think that there's going to be another scenario to match DGS's organization, immersion, realism, and planning?

Yep I was there and had fun in that one, I actually uploaded one of my films from it to GameTrailers.com and it's still up there. This was actually the first time I ever flew a K4 I think it was the second frame of DGS if I remember correctly.. Ended up down on the deck with two pony D's.

I had just gotten my subscription so I was a bomber. I was clueless in fighters. I wish I would've gone as a fighter. Even though I had a fun time.   Easyscor

DGS was great, I had an absolute ball CO'ing the Axis side and it was well worth the time we all invested into it.

I hope they decide to do DGS 08-09. I loved when our squadron ran into the first high 109s during our sweep. Best feeling in the world.

All scenario squads are completely separate from MA squads. Everybody is mixed up and put in squads with historical names and what not.

BoB '08 should be pretty good. It'll be awesome if we get the He111, as we'll have an almost complete planeset with no substitutes! Something that plagued Rangoon.

Still vividly remember it. I've always enjoyed flying escort in AH, it's a lot harder than it seems at first.  I still hear cries of "stay with the heavies" when I think about it.  I flew with the 474th on Guppy/Corky's wing and it was the first time I was actually proud of a video game accomplishment.  Both in that I helped bring my flight lead home in more or less one piece every frame I flew.  But if I recall correctly the 474th brought more buffs home than anyone else. 

DSG sucked me into the cockpit and nearly back in time to the point where things I normally don't give a second thought to in AH suddenly matter.  We NEEDED to get those big friends to the target and back, it was a new level of immersion.  For a history junkie like me, that was just the best this game has to offer.

DGS was by far the best scenario I've been a part of.  Scouting and shadowing the BUFFS, with that beautiful snow underneath.....The attack runs were just magnificent.  The tator rounds that I put into those 2 51's.....priceless.

You yanks are lucky with that. DGS was at 5am for me, which meant a 4:30 start to get into the arena and get set up for roll time. So whilst I had a fantastic time doing it there was just a huge enjoyment element missing for me. It would have been great to kick back, strap in and load up the beer fridge whilst on the epic missions. Life just isn't fun at 5am. 

The highlight for me was being appointed the designated 'experte' for my squad in one of the frames. I got a kill or two and got my 109K back to the home base safe and sound. I was the last plane to touch down, I think. It felt good to be given the resp
