the British gloster meteor would be a good addition to the game and means Base protectors will have something to take on the 262.

I don't believe that jet saw any action in the European theater.

It did, first against V1s in 1944 and then on offensive air patrols and ground strikes on the continent in 1945.  No air-to-air kills though.

I'm pretty sure there was at least one squadron based in Europe at the end of the war and flew combat missions. I remember someone posting about it in here a long time ago with a link to the squadrons operational history.

Then that's why I didn't know about it. I'm more familiar with planes that had larger amounts of air-to-air combat kills.

I wouldn't mind it. The Meteor and 262 never met each others in the skies during WW2. Maybe AHII can make that happen!

It would be fun.  However, I think there are many other aircraft that have earned a higher rank in the "need/should be added" category. 

IIRC, the Meteor was slower but could take the tight turns better.  I'll have to look up the info again.  I thought I remember reading that a Meteor vs Me262 dog fight would end up very much like the typical Spitfire vs Bf109 battle (speed vs turn vs climb vs roll, etc).

for the us the p-80 but i don't think it saw any action in ww2 but i'm not sure
