Cub Scouts! Enjoyed that.. my Mom was a Den Mother. Made friends for life.. learned a few things about knots that my family came to regret... ;)

I quit the Cub Scouts when I was a kid. When I turned 11, I wanted the join the Boy Scouts and my dad was upset because I had quit the Cub Scouts, So he told me If I ever quit the Boy Scouts I would be in serious trouble.   :D

Became an Eagle Scout right before my 18th Birthday.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I was in the Cub Scouts once.
But they threw me out because I was caught eating the Brownies.

Cute picture!

I was talking to my dad this passed weekend about a book I was reading, "Deke!" by Deke Slayton.  Deke built a house across Clear Creek from the house where my parents built the house I eventually grew up in, the Slayton family was directly across the creek and up a small incline.  I asked my dad if he had many encounters with Deke other than work (my father worked for G.E. at that time when G.E. had a support contract with NASA on the Apollo program) and he repied, "Oh yes, Deke's son Kent was in Chris' (my oldest brother) Den in the Cub Scouts and since I was Den Master Deke and I used to talk on the phone quite often, he was very involved in his son's activities."

I was stunned.  Deke Slayton...called my house...and used to talk to my dad.

Anyway, cute pic, thanks for sharing!
