The amazing F4F!!!

Logged onto AHII, and went to LWBlue (Orange had 250/200). Saw a CV fighting for a base, so I went to help out. Upped a F4F since I've been having some success with it. Got a kill and was shot down. Reupped, rinse, and repeat. I upped one last time with the F4F before I went to the Seafire. Got a kill and got ganged bad, and had a FM2 shoot my tail off and half my left wing. I rolled over and just watched and waited to die. To my amazment I flipped back over and went into a level glide SIDEWAYS! I thought maybe I just lost my rudder and I can ditch this into the ocean. Looked back and I actually didn't even have a tail! Then here comes a TYPH determined to get the kill no matter what! I turned on film, but only got 6 seconds of this amazing F4F flight.

  I felt sorry for that TYPH, all he had to do was roll left and he would have missed me!

No it's not. Planes don't fall immediately after they lose their tail, they continue forward and then float for a couple of seconds before falling into a slow tail-down fall (at least in Aces High). Considering he was too low to bail, he was probably planning on just riding it to the ground. The kill-hungry Typhoon obviously couldn't wait the second-and-a-half it would've taken his F4F to fall into the sea naturally... and he augered.

I think he actually did! Can't remember though. I seem to be having soo much luck this tour. First the amazing F4F, and just today I was helping attack A55 in Orange after bish took it, and saw MrQuick had a Hurri2D on his tail. I was going to attempt to shoot down the Hurri, though it would have to be a shot in a million. Fired a AP round when the hurri was at 1.0K away and got a hit smack-dap in the middle of his plane! The amazing thing is he wasn't fly towards or away from me, he was flying perfectly perpendicular to me! Sorry KATO1! You probably had no idea what just killed you! 

I didn't have film running for this one, though I tried my hardest to re-attempt it.
