As i came into a dogfight with A La and a Spit with a wingman we split up and each got one bandit. The plan was too counter attack but it didn't work that way. My wingman (in a P-51d also) was hit and had to bail.
I knew i was done for then i try ed the split S and counter the La sending in down ablaze
. The spit though was unhappy and rammed me causing a severe hit. I try ed to shake him but we would bugle so i overshot him and got a luck shot cause him to oil leak but then i was attacked by a unknown plane sending me with out a wing. I try ed to ditch but then quickly speed-ed up and got away. I flew a total of 60miles in the p-51d before ditching.
