People with the right upbringing do not discard a flag (throwing it on the floor) after an event, though there could have been a place to leave the flag if they didn't want to keep it for whatever reason.

The story implies the flags were thrown in the trash, but often times things are left in trash bags out back for someone to pick up later.  The flags were recovered by someone who took them to McCain.  So there's no way of knowing what was to be done with the flags and it would be a weak point to pursue that tactic when all the facts are not there.

Personally I would regard it as traitorous for someone to just throw the flag down as if it were trash.  Imo anyone doing so lacks respect for the USA.  I suppose a comparison could be made to see how many American flags were left at the Republican convention.  Probably be difficult to prove that though to make it official.  You'd have to ask the cleaning ladies.

I'm not for Obama.  That's why it's important to have backup facts for everything you say about the opposition.

That's two words, but the "allegedly found" means they are reporting this as an allegation, not established fact.

"McCain supporters said the flags were discovered by a vendor" This is a report of what McCain supporters said, not the fact of discovery.

"Democrats are not caring for their Stars and Stripes. At least that’s the message out of John McCain’s campaign."  once again reportage of what McC's campaign says.

It does report the response of the Obama campain.

I see no overt slant to this story other than it exists at all.  Please enlighten me as to your view of what is  slanted, twinboom.
