Great fight last night!! (saturday)

I have expressed my disdain for "runstangs" on  these BBs before.

And what started out as another "chase the stang" episode, actually turned into one of the most exhillarating fights I've had in a while!!

And in case you didn't notice, I called off that guy who tried to dive in on our little group.

Thanks for the fight guys.

Really was alot of fun for me, adrenaline pumping etc , fight must have lasted at least a full 5 minutes , probably longer.(I ususally don't stay alive that long.)

Damn!! I was down to under 20 shots near the end! (I'm not a very good shot)

I wish that I could engage more 51s in that fashion, rather than just having to chase them down.

Great fight, thanks again!!

Howdy Boner,

You both impressed and scared the crap outta both of us.  Let me add a little more for ya.  Skull is hollering that he has an LA that is absolutely glued to him and could use some help.  I was returning from a base down south after dropping some ords and was missing my right Aileron and left flap due to a rare but some times fatal condition called Wirbelosis.  I banked in to try to get you to break off, and got pulled into one of the better dogfights that I have had in a while.  Two ponies and an LA stall fighting on the deck over the water.  It's why I play this game.  You cannot plan this stuff, it just happens. You Sir are a great pilot in that bird,  and very few folks can get that thing to fight like you did!  My exact words to Skull after getting shot down by you was "That dude was flying that thing like a Spit!"  You got my salute as quick as I could get it out.

I wish I would have thought to film it, I don't use that feature very much.

Maybe next time.

And thanks for proving to me finally, that all P-51s aren't "runstangs"
