Verizon internet?
« on: September 06, 2008, 04:43:39 PM »
I'm currently on comcast internet service.  I'm getting bombarded with offers to move to verizon high speed internet.  I'm reasonably satisfied with Comcast, but Verizon is offering a substantial deal that would save me about 300 over the next year.  And I understand comcast is playing with stuff that skuzzy and some of you understand a lot better than I do.  Anyone use verizon, and what is your experience?

Verizon is the bomb :aok
I don't think I've ever warped once over a year and a half of playing. Nice and fast too; the last version took me just over 5 minutes to download (not sure how long it takes on comcast...) Usually a new MA map downloads in under 15 seconds.
I have their FiOS though, not sure how nice the others are.

I have Verizon DSL and I have no problems at all with down loads & or normal Webb browsing.  Granted it is slower than cable or fios.  I see some slight warping when AH/internet loading is at its highest, but not enough to be concerned.  Go for it you can always go back to cable if it doesn't work out.   :noid
