LaFever, this is hands down one of the most well written and comprehensively compiled wishes I have ever seen on this board, congratulations! I loved many of your ideas and seeing a literate post such as this is a refreshing change. I seriously hope that HiTech and his posse take a look at this and seriously consider some of your suggestions. Most all of them seem like viable and do-able options for the over-all betterment of Aces High.
High Hopes,

#15 is useless for a plane addition.  I am probably by far the biggest P-38 junkie in AH and I realize the droop snoop would be worthless in AH and nothing more than a target drone.  Though #1 is a good idea and a long requested one at that.

I heard somewhere the pilots could put out fires (fuel fires included) by climbing high enough, is this correct?
I'm Sector95 in-game! :-D

Hello Fever,

A thinking man's pilot you are Sir.  I do not necessarily agree with all items, but most of them seem to be good for gameplay.

Oink,

Ack: Agreed that droop snoot by itself wouldn't be much fun as a stand-alone but they were created for a reason. Maybe you didn't picture this:  1 P38DS  lugging 2x2000 lb bombs at 10,000 ft over a hotly contested airfield. 3-4 F6Fs are in tight auto-formation. The 38 sights their targets and coordinates the timing via vox. The formation drops very accurately from level flight just like a bomber formation without having to expose itself to the dangers of dive-bombing. The fighters keep their E and join the fight from a better offensive position. The 38 pilot loiters on station to usher in the next wave of Hellcats/jabos and racks up Team perks in the process.  The DS driver would gain "Team Perks" as multiplied from his bomber score (which would include any ord dropped from aircraft that were latched on to his for their drop)

Sectornine50: I know of a few internal fires have been extinguished in pressurized aircraft by  raising the cabin altitude which both starves fire of O2 and can actually suck it out of the aircraft.

Way: You didn't agree with ALL my ideas?? :uhoh We might have to rethink that "great minds think alike" adage... ;)

Oinks to the Pigs!

#36 is a great idea IMO
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

We need a #37 (miniature video monitor for IM feed from the wife so she thinks I am devoting my comuter time to her) -or- (miniature porn receiver).  :D
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
