It was still painted up like it was during WW2.

Well Jebus who lives in Schaumburg said they were having an airshow at the small airport there, and they were giving rides in it.  Kinda weird though that they had an airshow at that airport because it's a really really small airport, and about 10 miles from there is a slightly bigger airport that I would have figured they would have used for the airshow.

Interesting parallel to see the pitchfork in that graffiti all the way over there, Angus.  That's standard signage for the Folks and Gangster Disciples street gangs, largely based in Chicago.

Just remember, gangs are for people who are spineless. Real people can live life on their own and fight their own fighst. Grafitti is just a sign of cowardice.

Most gangs nowadays aren't really about fighting, there about making money, mostly through drug sales, and controlling territory to sell the drugs in.

Doesn't really make a difference, all cowards as far as I see it.

Oh I agree, I think gangs are one of the biggest problems in this country, their one of the main reason you can't go into certain area of a city anymore.

They were promoting the air show at the Schaumburg Septemberfest, and I still have the flier somewhere...i think.

But I agree I said the same thing, that is such a small airport to have an airshow.

Yeah, you would think they would have used DuPage Airport for it.

You know I've lived in this area for over 20 years now and I've still never seen the Schaumburg Airport & I live in Carol Stream, I mean I have an idea of where it is by seeing small planes going in for landings, but I still don't know exactly where it is.  Is it on Irving Park Rd.?
