Nice find!
Generally, in game, I find the g2 is more then a match for a spit9. I love fighting them as they generally seem to be the best match up for the gustav (2). As long as I keep the speeds below 100 or more then 170 or whatever their VFE is, then the fight isn't to bad at all. If it stays right up to and under their flaps out speed range then I find I need to take them into a rolling scissors (descending if not already OTD) and keep a little more speed then them so I can keep my turn rate up and just stay out of guns. Then it's just set them up for a vertical reverse and then reverse back into them.
Overall, I enjoy fighting the spit 9.
