WEll first of all I would like to say I am PUMPED for V1.06..BRING IT ON!!!
But I was thinking..(scarry thought) The Germans will have Perk planes as well as the US AirForce, Japanese, British, and Russians. The Italians...well they did not have any planes that would fall in the perk catagory as far as I know.
Well when it comes to the US NAVY the only planes that were in full production and were in route to the front that could be considered for perk was the F7F Tigercat and the F8F Bearcat. Before you all say.."THEY DID NOT SEE COMBAT"..HANG ON!! I think HTC should consider all aircraft that were NOT in expermental stages during WWII, were approved for combat, and were rolling down the production line and were at bases. This would be the F7F and F8F for the US NAVY.
SOme say that they had to be in mass production or play a key role.. well the TA152H Ar234 was not in mass amounts and did NOT play a key role but yet they are getting produced.
Another may say they need to see combat.. Don't agree to that ether, ..It was there in descent amounts and were heading to the front.
I am sure the the Germans had fighters that people are dieing to see that were in the same situtaion as the F7F and F8F as well as the British. Russians I am not sure but anyway. .. just my thoughts.
The last time I have seen the F7F and F8F in a game is Aces of the Pacific expansion pack.
Would like to see the P-63 Kingcobra(in Russian schemes) as well as the Horton Owl and P-61. Lets not forget the most importantly P-47M or N or both for Perk Planes.
Anway,
US Navy deservies its Perk Planes and The F7F and F8F would fit the bill....of course they would have to expensive as hell to get.
