So, if people who are to socially malfunctioned to be stable enough to feed themselves have children, what do we do with the children they produce?

Like I've said before, liberals are the nicest people; they'll give you the shirt off someone elses back.

It is not the job of my government to dictate charity.  However not only do you condone state mandated charity, but you will use it to reinforce and encourage what you have admitted is "malfunctioned" behavior.

Abortion is murder.

dos.. I think most of us will see that the trooper was indeed "a grave danger" to her family and that is what we will see..  we have families in the red states.

She won't fall in the polls. the "memo" looks odd.

:rofl

If you havent guessed by my past postings, I am a supporter of some democratic causes, just as I am a supporter of some republican causes.  I do like to see the conservs blow a gasket trying to get their posts in my threads! :aok

I am pro-"catchnet"/limited welfare, pro-choice, on the dems side, and low taxes, states rights(to an extent), and pro-gun on the repub side.

Have watched you, toad, ripsnort, and the likes over the last days/years always call me liberal, yet I am not true liberal.  Have been called commie liberal, yet love and live for freedom.  So, call me what you want, I will be voting for whats right. :aok

Don't dodge the question like a coward, what responsibility as an american do you have towards starving american children?
You seem so insulted that part of your tax money helps feed starving children, so how do you feel about part of your tax money being used right now to feed starving IRAQi children?

Who will then?  let them die by starvation?  I am willing to bet that you don't have an answer just always blame welfare on all the woes of our nation.  We pay other countries billions in aid because of their irresponsibility, yet let our own citizen children die of malnutrition because of deadbeat parents?

Look no one in this country dies from malnutrition..I don't care what you say.there are two many people
in this country will to help these people.I know of Churches(the ones that god hating liberals slam constantly)
that take people in, feed them cloth them. My uncle goes down to the free store every week and takes food
from restaurants and bakery's that have a surplus.
It kills me when I'm in the grocery store and see people on welfare getting steaks and crab legs when I can't afford that
sort of food. Essentially I'm the one paying for their high dollar taste in food.

skyrock. if the welfare state is "whats right" to you.. if public schools without vouchers is "right" to you.. then I don't need to define you at all.

Please tell me if you can what you are voting for that is "right".

As for Palin.. I just like the fact that she is more like the people I would identify with than some slick chicago lawyer who votes 100% of the time with ted kennedy and 50 year old liberal socialist worn out ideas.

He is about change alright..  a huge shift to the left is change but.. the ideas are ted kennedy old.

I can only say for what I've seen.  The kids I teach are all titleI, that means their parents all either below poverty line or workingpoor.   I hear them talk about government cheese like it was rib-eye steak, or bologna like it was prime rib.  I have a 1/2 sister who has been living off ovt here whole life, mind of an 8 yo, health problems and the likes, I know for certain her daughters lived off govt cheese and rice and the likes into their teen years when I let them come live with me and fed them properly.  I don't like havving to pay for people abusing the system, but that goes for every branch of government, like I said earlier, defense contractors charging $195 for a hammer and such, it's all relative, and there will always be crooks and users.  I'd rather see the kids eating though.

Rock,
I cannot answer to what you have seen, but I do beleive it is as you have seen. I do like this debate, but if we canned the Military or any other department it would not change the fact or how these chrildren are treated. The money would go to other earmarks. The question is what should be done. How is it going to be fixed. So let see if we can come up with an answer. Money is really not the answer as I see it, but how it is used and passed out to those that REALLY need it, is the way to look at it. I know, more government oversite and programs, but it this the answer? Who can we trust with our tax dollars?
I remember in school, when as a class we were getting a bit wild the teacher would call in the Princable. This is what is needed in Washington is someone to come in with a paddle and get everyone to start paying attention and get to work. Is that McCain, Obama or any of the others? NO none of them will be able to do that.

Do you have an idea?

As an American citizen and as a human..  I have the responsibility to not create a welfare class of people.. to not enable and encourage a life of dependence and misery.

Socialism has created a mess and now you ask how I should clean it up?    It will not be easy..  you have created a class that has no skills except breeding and working the system for more.

Kaw I understand exactly that feeling.  Working in low-income areas, I can tell you that is an exception and not the rule.

This is a good approach, it is how I see it.  I dont trust any of the m with my tax dollars, but unlike some of the haters/conservatives that would let a child starve to prove a point about a party, I look at it from a more realistic perspective.  My nieces lived of welfare food for 15 years of their lives.  I know it was greatly needed by them.  I dont know who will be the person to get things straight, hopefully it will happen.
