Looks like Rush set an example and now Oxycontin is the drug of choice for Young Republicans.

Per the Enquirer, the Palin's oldest son, Track, the one who is deploying to the Middle East sometime this week, has something in common with Rush Limbaugh -- an addiction to OxyContin. Allegedly, Track also enjoys cocaine, weed and alcohol and engaged in vandalism. The story additionally contains allegations that Bristol also enjoys pot and drinking and was kicked out of the house when she fell pregnant.

Track ain't running for office - Obama, the cokehead, however is.

The more they squeal the better I like it.  :D

Some just don't get it. Fair or not, attacks on Palin are perceived by most women the same as attacks on Obama are perceived by most blacks.

I never said the story was true. I never said it wasn't true. All I said was the Enquirer was reporting it. I heard about this listening to talk radio on the way home last night.

Personally, if the story turns out to be bogus I hope the Palin's sue the pants off The Enquirer. You can't go around slandering people. I seem to remember Carol Burnette winning a similar case against them.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Certainly looks you bought the story, hook, line and sinker, based upon your reply though.

That said, Oxycontin is the drug of choice for many young people today, not limited to republicans.

Looks like Cindy McCain was under investigation by the DEA.

She had a nasty pill popping habit, and John had to go up and ask George to call the DEA off.

I bet he gave George another big hug after that.

I wonder what would have happened if Teresa Heinz Kerry was found out to have a pill habit and the DEA was snooping around? I can almost see the posts on the O'Club about that.

Ya know, I am not a supporter of either candidate, but when I see homsexuals claiming they had sex with Obama, or reports that say "a whistleblower came forth..." from questionable sources like "Open Left", a big donut red flag just raises up. If it doesn't for you, well, I feel really sorry for you. Perhaps Dan Rather can share a condo with you all in retirement.

The thing that really disgusts me about political campaigns is the non-stop mud slinging that goes on, most of which isn't even true. Sure, we've all done things we regret, things we wish we could do differently, but that's not what I want to hear about during an election campaign. I want to hear how you feel about the issues facing this country. I want to hear detailed plans on how you plan to address said issues. I could care less what skeletons are in your closets.
