no you read too much into it, I was just commenting on individuals' attitude. on a personal level, if someone approaches every encounter with a FU attitude, they shouldn't be surprised if they dont make many friends. thats all 
understood. i wasn't trying to be rude........and i don't have that attitude personally, i just don't like other countries medling in our business, just as i believe we should stop medling in others.
