Nits took A98 in LWO with a gv raid a couple hours ago.  I was one of three guys who brought troops: one guy in an M3, two of us in SDK's.  When the troop carriers were called in from the forest, I was the last guy to the map room.  The first to arrive was the other SDK, he releases his troops, and moments later the M3 parks right next to him and releases his troops too.   I guess he felt swindled that he wasn't going to get the capture.   Anyway, it turned out a couple of those acks were still up, and the troops didn't take.  Tortoise like, I arrive, wait for our tanks to take down the acks, and release my troops for the capture.   Now, just imagine if there had only been those two Nits to take A98.

I've curtailed my M3/Sk/Goon activites quite a bit.  I've noticed that the competition for the capture has become pretty intense over the past 6-12 months.

ACTUALLY, I LIKE TO USE THE M3.

after i get killed a couple times, i bring an m126. the spawn campers don't realize it's a 16 till i've already nailed the livin crap outta them.

So long as his was the 10th troop into the maproom, he could have gotten it.  All the credit goes to the player who deployed the last troop.

Right, but you acknowledge the tactical stupidity of what he did?  He jeopardized the whole capture mission for the sake of a coin-toss.

I didn't say it was smart   If credit is what they want, it's hard to convince them that they should gamble that the person ahead of them will fail.

I'm sorry, I was just trying to make a feeble joke about how some people take this game far to seriously like the OP working soooo hard to take that base. Much like your post, taking MY post soooo seriously

You can never have too many troops. Most fun way of winning a war, kill all ack and town then drop 300 troops over the town!
