The 'ignore' feature is for PM's unless there is a new one that I have not found yet.

I'd like for the starter of a thread to have the ability to block individuals from posting in his thread, although I can see the obvious opportunities for abuse (squelching of opposing opinions, etc.).

We seem to have a couple of 's who insist on hijacking practically every thread in sight. Funny comments are one thing, but 15-20 off topic posts in a row can seriously derail a thread.

If HTC actually made these forums then this wouldn't be a bad wish. However since these forums were designed by someone else I hardly think this will come to fruition.


Unless you want to go bury yourself in PHP for two months to rework these forums to add all these unique features. ;)

Its an option that is simply needed to be turned on. Just about every forum I've admin'd has it.

Simply Sibyl has a mod to enable it, however this version of SMF doesn't have it.

There is a Mod for SMF, but it does not cover this version.  Maybe they would consider the request if and when there is a time you can present a compatible Mod along with your request.
