Flight 93
« on: September 11, 2008, 07:57:48 PM »
It supposedly crashed when the passengers took control over the airplane from the terrorists, and they crashed to their doom in order to prevent anymore further damage to any important US infrastructures. What if the terrorists continued their attacked? What building do you think Flight 93 was going for? IMO, I think it's the White House or the Washington Monument. Both with high importance, with the Monument being the easier target. Big, tall and white.

Discuss.

:salute to all that lost their lives that day.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

I have no clue what it was going for, but I respect the hell out of the people who did that.

I don't think anyone has a definitive answer as to who crashed the plane. My guess is that the hijacker did to avoid letting the plane be taken by the passengers. I give a serious  :salute to those who decided to fight back rather than die letting the hijacker use them as a weapon.

Speaks volumes about 2 points...

1. It took a planeload of average americans a remarkably short period of time to evaluate information, reach a consensus and take precipitous action that they understood would likely be fatal. They did not 'spectate', they did not form committees.. they evaluated, made a hard choice and acted. Immediately. Wouldn't it be nice if politicians acted with such resolve. Had that plane been filled with congressmen, the capitol would be gone.

2. No American Airliner will ever again be taken by a hijacker as long as the passengers remain alive since the folks on them will also act with the same grim resolve. America became a far safer place for all of us on that day.. and we have come to understand that real 'homeland security' means vigilance and a willingness to act.. personally.

I am humbled in the presence of such courage and resolve... and heartened that there still exists in this country a willingness of the people to act when challenged.

Makes putting up with the highly vocal liberal dingleberries amusing and a lot less worrisome.

Bless the Americans on that flight.. heros. every one.

no... it crashed cause the terrorist would have rather taken plane down and killed all them in it, then let them live, he flew it into the ground

Wow it's sounds like you can speak to the dead. How the hell do you know if the terrorists flew it into the ground on purpose? We know that the passengers were going to fight based on phone conversations and that is about it.

From the reports that have been released and leaked of the flight recorder transcripts, it appears that the terrorist pilot put the plane into a fatal nose dive to prevent the passengers from retaking the cockpit.

I suppose you think they were calling all the while fighting? BTW the illiterate speak you use loses your post credibility.
