Map setup check before Frame Three?

Could we please have a map setup check before Frame Three?  JG11's written orders for Frame Two said to fly from A10, but no planes at all were enabled on Friday night.  We were sent to A1-of-the-deadly-neutral-ack, but no planes were enabled there, either.  Finally, with a few minutes to spare, we were sent to A8, which was functional.  It would be very helpful if the map could be set up per the event design before the event is run.

I setup the map the same as Frame 1.  Fields 10/1 where not active fields in frame 1 or 2 to my knowledge.  Hence, no planes available.  The field is setup per event design prior to every event.  As to why your orders had the wrong fields, I can't say.  I didn't write them, but the map was setup, and I checked all the fields that should have been active.

The objectives I sent and map were very clear. A10 was not an active Luftwaffe base. It was a target to defend. They are not the same thing. If your CiC said "roll from A10" in the orders, that was a mistake.

When you guys get orders, have a look and make sure they make sense. If they dont, send an email and ask for clarification.

Sorry, but I presumed that our orders were written per spec.  My bad.  Personally, I have never seen any of the objectives or maps for any FSO frames.  Are they sent only to the CIC for each side?

I will resend them, it may be only the CiCs got them for frame 2. Normally we send them to all the squads.

From the looks of things, I think it was a simple mistake on the CiCs part for Frame 2 assigning us to A10.  A simple check of the map on the squadron commanders' part could have prevented the issue too.

(I did the V8 head smack after re-examining the map I was sent as it was pretty obvious if you looked at it) 

No worries, great fun.  I just wish I could have vectored MORE 109s onto those low IL2s we passed in my small Stuka flight
