Radiators:
I get shot in the radiator quite a bit when flying 109's.
All models of the 109 had two radiators, one under the left wing, one under the right. I'm guessing that they both did not get hit by the same bullet, so...
Did I actually get hit in the engine? Are the two radiators connected to the same pipes? or entirely separate fluid 'pipes' thru the engine?
Consider a 4 engine bomber, if one of thier engines gets a radiator hit, all of the engines don't suffer... almost the same thing? 2 radiators 1 bullet... sux!
Guessing that the 109 pilot close the flow to and from either side with a button or switch?
Can the 109's get some switches to open/close fluid flow to either radiator.
We need a close look at a 109 cockpit me thinks. Betcha the switches are in there somewhere.

Fuel tanks:
Self sealing tanks on 109s yes? When i get pinged up, maybe they do sometimes seal themselves and I never know it, I should be thankful for these unknown blessings if they actually happen... but why must it take the whole tank anyways? Did the puncturing bullet hit high or low in the tank? If I fly upside down or somethin, ok, then it all goes out, but what about straight and level flying when only trying to get home?
Why must the whole (AND ONLY) 'main' tank drain out by one bullet that didn't neccessarily hit at the bottom fo the tank? sux!

Between fuel and radiators, me thinks I'm rtb'ing tooooo much.
