Film Viewer Features
« on: September 15, 2008, 12:39:36 PM »
Is there something in the works for an updated film viewer?

A couple of things I'd like to see:
  • Shot setup window includes "go to current camera position" to allow tweaking of position/angles after seeing that the current shot doesn't quite look right
  • Better support for exporting/streaming to AVI, such as higher screen resolution and more reliability/stability

I just started working with the film viewer to create movies, so I might come up with more suggestions...I'm sure some of you guys have some suggestions of your own.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

i would add a keyframer setup to allow different camera shots and a transition between them

I don't think HTC wants to make a working piece of video editing software, just something to export the shots. I would agree with ImADot's suggestions though.

Keyframer sounds like a cool idea - but setting up separate single-shots as it does now, gives more flexibility for the final cut of the movie as a whole (like re-arranging the shots in Window Movie Maker or similar product).

I'm not talking about a video editing software, just keep the same camera shot as it is now but instead to have only a START and a END add (for example) 5 possible intermediated position/time/angle setup wich would let to move the camera along an action instead to cut it every different shot.
It's good as it is now, with an update with keys it would be better :)
