I actually just found out.   I knew he was in bad shape when I saw him in 2006, but this is off of the radar.   He's playing with Syd.  He kept the "Battle with cancer" close within the PF Family.   I always liked his "honky-tonk/clustered note" style of play.   Noone else did it and IMO he's the 2nd Legend of the Hammond Organ to pass (Billy Preston's already gone).

PS - Summer '68 was always one of my Richard Wright Fav's, if you haven't heard it give it a whirl.    Now I'm sure David is glad he said yes to the Reunion at Live 8.

 :salute My favorite keyboardist.I have a few DVD's,and now when I watch the Earl's Court 1994 DVD,Richard will join the other artist in my memory,Hughie Thomasson,Bo Diddley,and Danny Federici to name a few,as I watch them perform.
