i don't know how close that will be to the .44 mag Bulldog, but they seem very similar

and that was the least accurate gun i have ever fired.

could not hit any thing unless i was within 20 feet, if that

and that's not due to my shooting ability.

I'm sure the longer barrell would give greater accuraccy, but I didn't buy this to hit things beyond 20 feet.

rpm.. the more I get to know you the less we seem to have in common.

One of the few guns that has come along lately that I didn't even get a twinge to want to own would be that worthless judge thing.    It seems like the worst idea to come down the pike in decades.

Aw, c'mon lazs. We are more similar than you might want to believe. We just have different tastes.

Example:
We both like guns. I like The Judge, You like Glocks.

We both like cars. I like Fords, you like cars that suck. ;)

Umm.. I am not a fan of glocks.    I have also owned fords.. they have their good and bad points.  I don't think we are much alike at all...

Ink..  I have owned a half a dozen of more 44 bulldogs over the years..  I could routinely shoot under 5" groups at 25 yards with every one of them.   I think you are just scared of recoil.

Congrats RPM. I have a six 1/2 inch blued model. It pairs nicely with my Thunder Five. I have been taking it with me this season to deal with any snakes I come across, so far I haven't seen a snake yet. It figures too, last year I saw them all the time, now I am carrying something to deal with them and there are none to be found.

I'm with lazs on this. If you wanna charm snakes, you can load ratshot in a .44 - and have a much superior and versatile weapon.

ink.. are you saying that a charter arms bulldog is not capable of less than 5" groups at 25 yards?   that is laughable.

I am scared of a lot of things.. anyone who says that they are afraid of nothing is an idiot.

http://www.gunblast.com/Bulldog_Pug.htm

this guy is shooting 1 1/2 inch groups at 21 yards....

At 21 feet...

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BQY/is_4_53/ai_n27161894

Every load shot 1" groups.. this makes for easy 4 inch 25 yard groups..

I will even go so far as to say that I can hit man sized targets out to 100 yards with any good 44 special load in a bulldog.

I imagine I have fired at least 5,000 rounds through bulldogs over the years.

like I said.. if you can't hit anything at 20 feet then you are doing something really really really wrong..  fear of recoil is the obvious thing.

at 20 feet.. no test I have seen shows less than 2" accuracy for the bulldog.   Maybe you need glasses?

Oh..  I don't have a lot of interest in meeting you but no big deal if I do.
