Armament: 2x20mm cannons, 2x 0.30 in machine guns for gunner
Internal bay: 2,000lb of bombs or 1x Mark 13-2 torpedo
Underwing hardpoints: 500lb of bomb each
             Max speed: 294 Mph
             Range: 1,200 miles
             Service ceiling: 25,000ft
             Rate of climb: 1,750ft/min

Enjoy hope we get it <S> :pray

I suppose you think we also need the G4M "Betty". WHY do we need the He-111? What role could it have that one of the other bombers does not already do, and does better.

As for the Helldiver, I am all for that.

Why? three simple words. Battle Of Britain
What role can it play? Well, in scenarios it actually means early planes might have a CHANCE to catch the bombers!

OK, the HE111 may not have 12 .50s as defence. It may not be able to carry 22000lbs of ord, but it DOES fill a massive hole in th plane set. The HE111 was the backbone of the German bombing campaign from the beginning of the war, and served right until the end. Its also the Iconic bomber. After the last BoB scenario, we all got patches. It was the HE111 on them, not the JU88 that was used AS A SUBSTITUTE. Ladies and Gentlemen of the opposition, I rest my case.

Don't we already have this, except 2 .50's instead of 2 20MM's?

I respect the historical desire for the plane.  but i must counter that except in certain rare times, it will become a hanger queen.  In a game where the top ranked pilots are not the best pilots, but rather the best SIM sticks, how does the 111 enhance gameplay?  If it were possible read: economicaly feasible), I am sure that HTC would give us every plane that saw, reasonable, service in WW2.

Now a plane that WILL do something for gameplay & give us a chance to spend our bomber perks on something other than 234s is the A-26.  :rock bring HT, bring it!  :rock

832725,

We have more American CV aircraft than any other nation's.  We need things like the B6N2 "Jill", D4Y "Judy" and Firefly Mk I much more than we need more American CV aircraft.

vonKrimm,

If that is how you see things, you should probably just start advocating no new aircraft ever be added now.  All the "mass use" aircraft have been added and anything added now will be a hangar queen compared to what we already have.

Booooooo .....it's folks like you that keep the early war plane set from being fleshed out .....Why aren't fans of early War rides entitled to some airframes?  Thanks to you and your kind we will never ever see He-111's  I-16's  C.200's  Mig-3's  Ki-27's  ...etc etc .....Boooooooo

Does every new plane have to be put through the criteria of:  "Will this revolutionise the Late War arenas? " ......I'm so tired of this argument.

I have a newsflash for you ...there are very very few planes left that would set the LW on it's ear .....

There are no "Hanger Queens"  ...the planes are ready to fly any time you want them ...you just have to have enough "stones" to fly it.  the plane is more then willing.
