The contention is that the info Todd Palin spoke about was personal employment info about his brother in law which neither he nor the governor by law was privy to know. So the conspirecy is supposed to be he could only have learned it if his wife had broken the law and had her brother in laws employment information given to her without out permission by her brother in law and the company that provides saftey officers for the state. This is to build the case that she violated his legal rights trying to have him fired by using undue government influence for personal family matters. Her brother in law has stated this is all a non-issue as far as he is concerned.

This is why Todd Palin has been subpoenaed.

The man she actualy fired was a republican who was going behind her back to countermand her veto of certain bills and policies up to contacting the Alaskan federal representitive to try and gain federal funds she turned down. He was fired for insubordination which was with in her legal pervue. He is trying to get even with her by working with the state democrats to ruin her chances to become VP. This is the reason for the private and state lawsuits to stop the investigation because the players involved both republican and democrate are trying to get revenge against Palin for stomping on thier "good ol boy" make money on the backs of Alaskan citizens machine in the state government.

Kinda like how the Ill state democrat machines get even with people who don't elect their favorite son. They just ruin your reputation and force you to drop from the race. No contest.....kinda how Palin is being treated on the national scean now.........If McCain had picked Mother Theresa if she was still alive, the Dems\Liberals would manufacture garbage to screw her even if God came down in person and spoke for her.

Because, sir, YOUR reply made absofugginlutely no sense.  A major tenant in the communication of ideas through debate is the actual clarity by which you present them.  You are attempting to portray yourself as a thinking person and expressing thought on a subject that is complex...yet you use grammar that a 4th grade dropout might question.  Your post made no sense.  I called you on it.  End of story.  If being elitist is being correct, then elite I am.  When trying to make an argument intellectually..... it helps to be.... intellectual.

I have no comment on Mrs. Palin's intelligence.  The fact she jumped through 5 differing schools, in almost 6 years..... on the way to a menial bachelor's degree in Journalism.....  somehow tells the whole story to me, without getting into comments like "stupid" or "dumb".  (If you don't know how easy a degree in Journalism is to get, then please don't post.)  She steadfastly opposes evolution.  A rocket scientist she is not.  I actually am far more concerned with her "maverick" claim, while she has aggressively ridden any of the government around her, throughout her political career, of dissenting voices and opinions.  Just like our current moron-in-chief.  That she even looked into the banning of books in her library in Wasilla is taboo, to me.  Never mind she gave up on it.... she was trying.

As well... you don't know my political affiliation.  I did not assume yours at any time.  Remember that as you pigeon hole the people around you.  We all are not required to agree with you.

 the problem with that is , as a civilian he is not in the wrong by knowing that info, most all gov. business is free to the public under the freedom of information act
nor is the fact that his brother-in-law, is a  state trooper, a state secret
 also if he was privy to sensitive info,( much like Hillary has claimed to have been, then denied), it would have to be classified info,and would not fall on him, but instead on her
 and by all lib. accounts, she doesn't know anything

that's why they call it the public record!
my S.S. # is not a matter of public record, it is also "of value" and therefore a crime to use it for gain, even if someone other than yourself gets it , and only gives it too you.
on the other hand, the person that broke into Gov. Palin's email account, can and will be prosecuted,
however the info can be released by other sources I.E. news papers or TV as long as they did not steal that info!  now even if Todd Palin had relevant gov. info, unless he went to the trouble of breaking the law to obtain it,
he would not be in violation of anything!
 let us also not forget that the trooper who is at the center of all this was his brother-in-law, so any info that might have been known could easily have come from the trooper himself,  we don't know how close the family was before there marriage went south, or if it went South because of the trooper tasering the 10 year old child!
 we don't know anything yet, and i don't think you are going to find out anything till after the election, of cource after that,, no one will care, unless McCain wins!
