Yes, we do need the A-26.  we need something else to spend bomber perks on besides the Ar234.  As far as U.S. planes being over represented, we someone else said that "game design is not a democratic process". 
In way it is, as a REPRESENTATIVE democracy, since HTC is a U.S> firm in the U.S. employing many U.S. citizens to support a largely U.S. client base (based on # of single country players).  So if the U.S. planes are over represented: NOT!

Bristol Beaufighter would make far more sense 1940-45 use, every theater of operations, multiple variants, carries every piece of ord a fun police driver could want, and has 4 cannons for the crowd that needs to over compensate.

There is only one axis aircraft with a payload large enough to be a called a medium bomber, the Ju-88.

A-26 is awesome.

When I was little, a guy flew an A-26 at our Airport, my dad was good friends with the pilot and mechanic, we even got to fly in it. (it has a LOT of power behind the wheel.)

No.  Aircraft should be added according to their value for filling in scenario gaps.  We already have everything we need for the main arena.
