The He-111 will be flown for the same reasons the other early war planes will be flown;

1: ITS THERE.
2: It's an EW plane.
3: There's not many German bombers to choose from.
4: WE ALL WANT TO FLY IT.

If the HE-111 ever comes to AHII it will most likely just sit in the hanger once the new plane smell wears off. The A-26, on the other hand, I see being used quite often by many people.

It doesnt suck for an early war bird, but its very over matched as a MA bird. It's slow and has comparatively limited defensive firepower. It's base configuration is 7 x 7.7mm. Traditionally it had 2 x 12.7mm (one top and bottom in rear) + a 20mm gun firing forward below {are other options). So the rear firepower would be 3 x 12.7 and possibly 2 x 7.7 based on angles. Compare this to a minimum of 6 x .50 cal on a B-26 and possibly 8, 10 or even more. Ki-67 has 2 x 12.7 in tail + 12.7 beam guns and 20mm turret...

No comparison with either vs the He-111

I changed my mind He-111 would be ALOT easier to shoot down.  The A-26 could actually fight back and sent ya to the tower....I like easy kills!

The thing is, we don't actually need any plane.  We might like a certain plane, but we don't need it.

P.S. Please note that in my original post, I did not once say that we 'need' the A-26.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

A26, well HELL yes!!!
Will it be used??? OF COURSE IT WILL!!! Heavily!!!!
It fits the same mission profile as A20, (which is a prewar design)
But its faster, far better divespeed, better firepower, better payload, wont fly apart as easily...
Geee, its a genuine latewar plane, for the latewar arena, go figure!!!

The only thing that I'd hate about it, is the sidesaddle pilot seating...
Girls in skirts ride sidesaddle!!! lol.....

Don't fear the A26, embrace it!!!

HE111??? What a Klunker!!!
Japanese Betty??? A very fragile molotov cocktail w wings...
But I suppose they are needed for historical scenarios...

But even in the EW arena, whos going to actually fly them???
Who would make themselves an easy target? Especially when the JU88
or far better allied designs are in the hangars...

Give us a plane that WORKS!!!

I wonder how the makers feel, when their models, (which they worked sooo hard on, <S>),
just sit in the hngr, cuz the plane itself sucks...
Or is it better for the makers, when their plane, IS EVERYWHERE... Blowin the crap outta EVERYTHING!!!!
Just guessin, but I'll bet that the latter is far more pleasing...

Again.... Why are we continuing to try to pump up the already superior American bomber plane-set when its the Italian, Japanese, and German bomber plane-set that's lacking?

Hmmm, for me, its not about pumpin up a national planeset...
I think there are soo many US planes in the game, simply because
the US built soo many awesome aircraft types...With a very few exceptions,
collectively superior, to other nations types, in any given category...

Thats why the axis LOST!!!, and so many US planes are in AH...

In that way, the game does represent history...

Not our fault that the axis kept producing outdated aircraft till the end of the war...

Give us the A26 already, its past due...
