Good idea, lull the demodummies into a false sense of security, then whammo! It was so much fun watching them walk around like stoned zombies after Bush beat Kerry. 
This election isnt over yet by a longshot.
I expect that electoral map will change leads at least once or twice more before its all over with.
Of one thing I am absolutely 1,000% certain.
No matter which side wins.
We're going to see the other side whining like little spoiled brat crybabies for the next 4-8 years.

I am in complete agreement with Phil Gramm when he said we have "become a nation of whiners".
Only I wouldnt limit that statement to only the economy. But rather it be all inclusive.
